This is truly an authentic Mexican cuisine spot. It is not Tex-Mex, meaning no crunchy tacos - only handmade corn masa tortillas, no chips and salsa when you sit to dine in because that is not what is normally done when you sit to eat street style food in Mexico or even in restaurants. Some dishes will take a little longer to cook and prepare just depending on what it is because everything truly is made fresh to order. The Fresh handmade corn tortillas that come with certain dishes, are simply amazing! I recommend the quesabirria tacos, tacos de trompo, tacos al pastor, or the chicken with chorizo and cheese empanadas. Have a Mexican coke with your meal or pineapple Jarrito to enhance your experience.

Place is my new go to place ...be aware americanos this is a taqueria so do not be surprised when you do not receive chips and salsa this is NOT a Mexican americanized restaurant like Tex mex this is a taqueria and has some of the best tacos around also have some bomb tostadas and ceviche love the atmosphere love the food and the customer service and the fact that they bring a live band sometimes is pretty cool please don’t mix this place up with those regular American Mexican restaurant yall use to going to eat at ... Sincerely me ;D P.s try the coli tacos sooo yummy and the mojarras !!!!

Fresh, flavorful and consistently good service. This is our kids’ favorite restaurant in town. I also appreciate the modern interior atmosphere and original artwork painted on the wall.

This is the second time me and my husband has been here, it never disappoints! Talk about traditional if you want authentic dishes La G is the place for you. The drinks and the food is made with passion! Best restaurant in town! The owner and his team will definitely take care of you and will give you an experience you will never forget.

Always the greatest atmosphere, the best food, and tonight, Jay was our server, and I wanted a margarita. I didn't know what kind, so I told her to surprise me. She made her own creation, and it was absolutely amazing. Ask for Jay and tell her you want the Jay-Rita. You will not be disappointed.
